Where do your donations go?
Quota International of Metro Denver prides itself in the diversity of our dollars.  Our local club provides assistence for those individuals, young and old, who need hearing aids and related services primarily in the Denver area.
We are currently sponsoring two $ 1000.00 scholarships annually: The Elsie YarterScholarship, awarded to those either going into the field of deaf and hearing-impaired education or to a deaf or hearing-impaired student furthering his/her education; and the Mary Scofield Scholarship for the Advancement of Single Mothers, awarded to a single mother furthering her education beyond high school.
We sponsor an annual Easter Egg Hunt, in Aurora, for the elementary school (Preschool through 5th grade) deaf and hard of hearing children.  This event includes an Easter Bunny that uses sign language to communicate with the children. We also sponsor, along with Kiwanis, several Xmas parties with a Santa Claus at Aurora Public Schools. Quota also holds a Skate City skating party for deaf and hard of hearing students throughout the Metro Area each year.

Hearing is not the only area that Quota of Metro Denver focuses on. We also provide goods and services to other local service organizations. For example: Several times a year, Quota prepares and serves dinner at Urban Peak, a shelter for homeless teens. In 2011, Quota began providing much needed goods to The Delores Project, a shelter for homeless women.

How can you get involved?
Quota International of Metro Denver is always looking for enthusiastic women who are looking to donate their time, energy, and friendship to help those in our community.  Membership in Quota is by invitation, so please, consider this your invitation to contact us and discover how wonderful it can feel to give yourself, your time, and your friendship.

If time is not on your side, please consider donating monetarily or with goods and services.  For information on how you can donate to Quota, please email us at Qimdenver@aol.com.
